Capacity development
The UN Forum on Forests Secretariat carries out a range of capacity development activities on implementation of the UN Forest Instrument in collaboration with various partners including members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests. These include research studies, knowledge exchange through regional workshops and communication mechanisms such as videos and brochures. Focal areas include financing for sustainable forest management, monitoring, assessment and reporting on implementation of the UN Forest Instrument, and forest related SDGs and targets of the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
