The third international webinar of the Africa Dialogue Series 2024 will focus on "Education and Learning in Crisis-Affected Areas." Moderated by Ms. Folly Bah Thibault from Al Jazeera English, the session will begin with welcoming remarks by Mr. Jean-Paul Adam from the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA), followed by opening remarks from Ms. Etleva Kadilli of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Mr. Xavier Creach from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

A panel discussion will feature senior officials from the public and private sector, including Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Governor of Borno State, Nigeria; Dr. Kebede Kassa Tsegaye from IGAD; Prof. Loise Gichuhi from the University of Nairobi; and Ms. Lisa Felton from the Vodafone Foundation.

The event will also include an interactive Q&A session with the audience and conclude with closing remarks and a call to action by H.E. Ambassador Fatima Kyari Mohammed, the African Union's Permanent Observer to the United Nations.
