Hon. Okumu Ronald Reagan is a former Member of the Ugandan Parliament. As a Member of Parliament from 1996 to 2021, he served in multiple capacities, including Commissioner of Parliament; Delegate to the Interparliamentary Union in Genena; Member of the Pan African Parliament in Pretoria; Chairperson of the?Public Accounts Committee for Local Government; Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises; Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Presidential Foreign Affairs; Member of the Uganda Presidential 国产AV Team; Member of?the?National Committee for Re-establishment of the East African Community; Member of Various Parliamentary Committees; Shadow Foreign Minister; and International Election Observer Team Member. 

Outside Parliament, he?was an Investigation Officer in the Office of Inspector General of Government, investigating public officials' abuse of office (Corruption and Human Rights Abuse). He also served as the Founding Chairperson and Deputy President of Uganda’s political Party (FDC).   

He holds a Master of Arts in Conflict and International Relations from New York University, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Makerere University and a Bachelor of Associate Arts in Democracy and Social Sciences. He is involved in research and has publications on various subjects.
