Special Accreditation Application for non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and private sector entities is closed!
If you represent a non-governmental organization, civil society organization, academic institution or private sector entity seeking to participate in LDC5 in Doha, and your organization is not already accredited via the ECOSOC or a previous round of special accreditation, please complete the application . PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOUR ORGANIZATION IS ALREADY ACCREDITED.
Steps to Apply for Special Accreditation:
- APPLY - First step is to , which is now open until 7 December (noon NY time). If you miss the accreditation deadline (and you are not already accredited), you will not be able to register for the Conference later. Kindly note this is the third and final round for special accreditation.
- REVIEW - Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States, in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution.
- APPROVAL - Accredited entities will be informed and will receive further instruction to finalize their registration.
- REGISTRATION - Each representative from your organization/company will need to register individually to secure their participation in LDC5 Conference including the PSF. More details on this to follow.
- PERMIT – Each registered participant must apply for a Special Entry Permit to Qatar. More details on this process to follow.
To Participate in the LDC5 Conference and related events
- Your organization must be accredited to the UN as a stakeholder (either via special accreditation or the ECOSOC);
- You must be registered for the LDC5 Conference, and;
- You must obtain a special entry permit to Qatar.

**PLEASE NOTE: Applying for special accreditation is only the first step and does not guarantee access to LDC5. If your organization is approved for special accreditation, you must also REGISTER for the LDC5 Conference and apply for a special entry permit to Qatar.
