The Visitors Service of the United Nations Office at Nairobi () was established in 2012 following a General Assembly decision to offer guided tours of the Nairobi complex. Our service complements the existing UN Visitors Services in Geneva, New York, and Vienna. As part of the largest UN compound in the Global South, we provide a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the heart of UN operations in Africa.
Our team of highly trained professional tour guides offers enriching experiences that go beyond just sightseeing. We pride ourselves on delivering in-depth knowledge of the UN's history, its global initiatives, and its impact on the region. With diverse backgrounds and expertise, our guides offer tours in multiple languages, ensuring a world-class experience for every visitor.
Located within UNON, the African Headquarters of the United Nations, we offer visitors a chance to see firsthand how the UN is working to address global challenges. Whether you're interested in sustainable development, human rights, or environmental protection, our tours provide insights into the United Nations’ critical work. We invite you to engage with us and ask any questions about the UN’s mission and its role in shaping a better world.
