Stepping-up African youths action in food systems transformation

The youth are the largest proportion of the African population and they bear the burden of existing weak food systems. African youth are taking the lead in advocating and calling for action to transform future food systems on the continent.

We are pleased to invite you to the first African Youth Kick-off Meeting on food systems, organized by African youth leaders and the Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture (GACSA) in support of the UN Food Systems Summit. This regional conversation will also include food systems champions and leaders of the Summit's Action Tracks, who are joining the call to African youth to participate in the Summit process, by learning about their local food systems, identifying challenges and solutions, sharing knowledge, and advancing actions that will transform current food systems.
