For this year’s General Assembly session, the United Nations Academic Impact team?has produced?a series of video interviews with young staff working for?the Permanent Missions to the United Nations?and?for?the Organization.
Rafael Radischat, an Intern at the Protocol and Liaison Service of the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, who is half-Portuguese, half-German, and grew up in Austria, started his UN experience in Vienna four years ago.
He is very excited about this opportunity of working during the high-level segment of the General Assembly.
"It is a dream of mine to be doing this," he comments.
"All world leaders coming together discussing our future, our youth's future, I think it is something very important," Radischat adds.
For him, it is an opportunity to see how "world diplomacy unfolds from New York to the entire world".
