The in the Department of Operational Support (DOS) is issuing stamps today, 11 August, entitled “We Are All in this Together?– Help Stop the Spread of COVID-19". The stamps pay tribute to frontline workers in the fight against this global pandemic, raise public awareness about the spread of the disease, and support the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund organized by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The stamps represent the following six key public health messages issued by the UN and WHO to help stop the spread of the virus:

  1. Personal Hygiene
  2. Maintain Physical Distancing
  3. Recognize the Symptoms
  4. Spread Kindness
  5. Prevent Misinformation (Myth-busting)
  6. Act in Solidarity

A surcharge has been added to the stamps and the proceeds will be directly sent to the .

The stamp sheet was designed by Rorie Katz (United Nations).? The stamp icons were designed by TBWA Global, and the image of the healthcare worker on the stamp sheet with the words “thank you” in many languages was illustrated by Chiara Fiore (USA).
