Mr. Syed Mohamad Hasrin Aidid is a career diplomat and joined the Malaysian Administrative Diplomatic Service in June 1994.

He had served overseas as Second Secretary and Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations, Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta.

At the Ministry, he had served in the Multilateral Affairs Department, Policy Planning Division and South East Asia Division. He had also served as the Special Officer to the Secretary General and Special Officer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He holds a Master Degree in Public Management from the Lee Kuan Yew School, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Arizona, USA.

On 7 July 2017, he presented his Letter of Credence as the Ambassador of Malaysia to the United Arab Emirates.

He is married to Sarah Nava Rani AlBakri Devadason and is blessed with five sons.

In 2019 Ambassador Syed Mohamad Hasrin Aidid chaired the third session of the Preparatory Committee or the 2020 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference.

Ambassador Dominika Krois serves currently as Permanent Representative of Poland to the United Nations Office and the International Organisations in Vienna.

She is the IAEA Governor, Vice-Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee to elaborate a comprehensive international convention on countering the use of information and communications technologies for criminal purposes, and President of the UNIDO Industrial Development Board. In 2021 she facilitated negotiations of a political declaration of the 64 session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (Chair) and election of UNIDO Director General.

Prior to this, she coordinated OSCE affairs in the European External Action Service (2015-2019), represented the EU in the UN Office and other International Organisations in Vienna (2011–2015) and served as Vice President of the Conferences of the Parties to the UN Crime and Corruption Conventions and as UN expert on corruption (2006–2011).

Earlier in her career, she gained experience with the EU integration process, legal affairs, and bilateral diplomacy.

Dr. Krois holds a law degree, and has graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow; her doctoral thesis focused on international criminal law.

Ambassador Ingeborg Denissen is the Netherlands Ambassador for the NPT and the head of the Non-Proliferation, Disarmament and Nuclear Affairs section at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since January 2020 she has served as the coordinator for the Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Initiative (NPDI).

Prior to her current role, Ingeborg Denissen held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. From 2016-2020 she was the deputy head of the Political Section at the Netherlands Embassy in the United States, where her areas of focus were US WMD policies and US-NL cooperation in the field of non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament. From 2013-2016, she was the deputy head of the Policy Planning Unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. Earlier in her career, she has worked at the offices for civil society (2003-2005) and research cooperation (2005-2008) in the development cooperation section of the MFA. Furthermore, she has served at the Netherlands Embassy in Sudan (2008-2011) and in temporary assignments at the Netherlands Embassies in Poland (2016) and Ethiopia (2005).

Ingeborg Denissen holds an MA in political science / international relations from Amsterdam University and a PhD in political anthropology from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. For her research, she has spent extended periods in Mexico City (2008), Khartoum (2008-2011) and Berlin (2012). She has been a regular guest lecturer and thesis supervisor at various universities in the Netherlands and abroad and was an adjunct professorial lecturer at the American University’s School of International Service in Washington DC from 2018-2020. She is fluent in Dutch, English, French, Spanish and German.
