Preparation
The 2023 SDG Summit focused on people. It culminated 10 months of active preparations involving governments, the UN system and other international and regional organizations, the private sector, NGOs, youth, cities, and multiple other actors and people.
The annual meeting of the under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council from 10 to 19 July 2023 in New York will contribute to the preparations of the SDG Summit. The theme of 飞补蝉&苍产蝉辫;“Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels”.
The preparations of the Summit also included:
- At the national level, the of Member States
- to be held by the United Nations regional commissions from February to April 2023 will discuss preparations for the Summit at the regional level.
- Report of the Secretary-General on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals, and other reports and background papers to be prepared by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the UN system. For more information,
