Capacity Development for Women Owned Businesses

NEW!!

UN SPONSORED TRAINING SESSIONS (2023)

This year the United Nations has partnered with International Trade Centre (ITC)/SheTrades to provide capacity building trainings to promote Women’s economic empowerment. Following the successful delivery of capacity building trainings to women-owned businesses in 2021 and 2022, the United Nations, in cooperation with SheTrades, is glad to introduce the below upcoming seminars and trainings. The seminars and trainings are free of charge. The United Nations recognizes gender equality as a right and a requisite for sustainable development. Every woman has the right to a decent income, employment, working conditions and choice and voice in shaping their economic context.

ITC’s SheTrades Initiatives targets all stakeholders across the trade and business ecosystem to provide women entrepreneurs and producers with access to key knowledge, resources, and networks.  SheTrades works at the multilateral, regional and national levels to ensure that all women’s needs and interests are considered, acted upon, and translated into results on the ground.’ ()
