In a meeting co-chaired by the Assistant Secretary-General for Field Support and the Assistant Secretary-General for Central Support Services held on 30 July 2013 at UNHQ, a delegation from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) briefed interested Member States on the results of their recent study, which was conducted to assist the UN Secretariat with the establishment of performance based specifications for air charter requirements and to prepare the transition to a modified solicitation methodology in the form of Request for Proposal (RFP).
