Philippines becomes fifth Member State to brief the CTC on its implementation of CTC visit recommendations

During its briefing to the Counter-Terrorism Committee, delivered on 28 May 2021, Under-Secretary Camilo Pancratius P. Cascolan, Executive Director of the Anti-Terrorism Council Program Management Center in the Office of the President of the Philippines (former Chief of the Philippine National Police), outlined a range of steps taken by the Philippines to implement the Committee’s visit recommendations pursuant to the requirements of the relevant Security Council resolutions, as well as several priority areas of technical assistance needs.

“Poland appreciates the actions of the UN in the global fight against the terrorist threat”, said Marcin Przydacz, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, during a briefing to the Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC) on 18 March 2021, about the steps Poland has taken in implementing the CTC’s visit recommendations, as well as Security Council resolutions 1373 (2001), 2178 (2014), 2396 (2017) and other relevant Council resolutions.
