Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov closes his speech at the Security Council meeting on Ukraine: "We're not talking today about subordinating ourselves to some kind of a rules based order, but we're talking about compliance with all of the obligations which we shouldered when signing the Charter in all of their integral and interconnected nature."

Replacing Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia around the horseshoe in the Security Council, Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov said: "Since the collapse of the USSR and the establishment of independent States in its place, the US and its satellites have egregiously and openly interfered in the domestic affairs of Ukraine… all the facts are being swept under the rug. At the Climate Ambition Summit - Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan said we are committing self-harm on a planetary scale. He further said that we feel let down by the backtracking of countries such as the UK but cities give us hope and London is a leader. He reminded the audience that the time for action is now and stated London will be net zero by the end of this decade, cities can be "climate titans". He called participants to get on board or get behind as we race to a greener age.
