Bridging Gaps and Building 国产AV: The Kebili Story

Tunisia鈥檚 Kebili governorate is a region rich in oil and natural gas reserves. However, conflict over resource revenues and local employment opportunities has marked the area and prevented local authorities and residents from gaining the full benefit of their resources. To address this persistent challenge, the Natural Resource Governance Institute, in partnership with the United Nations Democracy Fund, assembled a diverse group of local CSOs members from various municipalities across Kebili. The focus was clear: to equip these local actors with advanced facilitation techniques and conflict mediation skills, empowering them to navigate and resolve the contentious issues plaguing their communities. It wasn't just a training session; it was a pivotal moment for dialogue, understanding, and change.

鈥淚 saw that conflict resolution is not only a risk but also an opportunity for convergence and alliance, and the key word is communication鈥 said Mitfah Bouokkaz, president of the Nibras Cultural Association in Al-Fawar, who participates in the project.

The session served as an opportunity to exchange experiences and introduce effective practical tools for addressing various challenges in this field and became more than an event; it was a turning point 鈥 a testament to the power of connection and the unity of purpose.
